
The Department of the Interior and Local and Government V is all set for the conduct of the 2010 Capacity Development Expo on August 25, 2010 with Secretary Jesse M. Robredo as guest of honor.
During the activity, the State of Local Development of Region V will be presented to the local officials, heads of government agencies, members of non-government organizations, media and other guests who are expected to attend. The activity will also showcase some best practices of local government units in Bicol Region. From the results of the Local Government Performance Management System (LGPMS) and Systems Competency Assessment for Local Governments (SCALOG), awards and citations will be given to selected local government units for their outstanding and exemplary performance in the different service areas of local governance.
