The Department of the Interior and Local and Government V is all set for the conduct of the 2010 Capacity Development Expo on August 25, 2010 with Secretary Jesse M. Robredo as guest of honor.      During the activity, the  State of Local Development  of  Region V will be presented to the local officials, heads of government agencies, members of non-government organizations, media and other guests who are expected to attend.      To promote equity among suppliers, transparency in the bidding process and public monitoring of all government projects - - these are the main objectives of the PhilGEPS.      This new system will enable all government entities to fully comply with the provisions of RA 9184 otherwise known as the Government Procurement Act.
